Joining Lisa Strong-Aufhauser of Strong Mountain Productions, I co-wrote and co-produced a pilot series of 3-minute long educational radio programs for the Petersburg Marine Mammal Center in Petersburg Alaska. The programs explore the lives and habits of marine mammals and the issues surrounding them. They emphasize the vital nature of the local marine habitats that are critical for the survival of both marine mammals and the sustainable livelihoods of the fishing community. The programs will be broadcast on Petersburg’s public radio station and other public radio stations in Alaska.
